    Marine of Capo Carbonara is protected area with islands of Serpentara and Cavoli. They both have unique and beautiful park. You can see in their natural parks different sorts of granitic rocks that are giving a special look to the whole environment. Near the park is a small village of Villasimius, there are also varieties of archaeological finds, one of the most old and ancient one is from Roman period that dates back to 250 a.c. The protected areas are also in the islands of Molarotto and Molara that are covered with limestone cliffs and granite stones. Those islands are known for blue lizards. The colors of the sea are very beautiful on those two islands.

    The sea of the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara is a subject of some fishing rules and limitations. Marine protected area of Capo Carbonara is an essential place close the village of Villasimius. Here is a right place for snorkelers or divers where they can explore underwater using mask and snorkel. All the parts of Capo Carbonara are quite a sight, but the main dive points is the shoal of Santa Caterina: a complex of granite buttresses and bastions that go deep into sea up to a depth of about thirty meters.
