    Travel to Hvar island Croatia

    Well, first of all; you’ve already made an excellent choice with travel to Croatian island of Hvar. Hvar Island is accessible by ferry and relatively remote destination. In any case, you have to reserve at least one week for a vacation on the island of Hvar. If you choose to travel by private car and ferry, the 10 days could be just right for active holidays and explore the island.

    10 days in Hvar at winter time may be a bit long. In the summer (from late may) you would have no problem enjoying your time there.

    Hvar is on of the more posh places in Croatia with a very good nightlife and lazy beach days. However at this period of year you could find it a bit laid back. . Get ready for idle enjoyable days. The water is amazing transparent, you will be surprised. If you like snorkling or fishing this may be attractive even these time.

    At winter time the ferry troubles may be a bother. You will for sure have no problem finding places to stay at this time of year, for a quite good price! Take pleasure in your vacation, I’m certain you will love it. If you find time and oportunity, visit Dubrovnik town (My favourite place in south Europe) which is accessible by ferry fro Hvar island. Enjoy the croatian wine and beer.

    The anual average of sunshine hours is 2726, while the highest of 3053 hours was reached in year 2003. In multitude of sunshine days, 18th of July is the sunniest with the more then 12 hours of sun-shine.
    The benefits of the weather conditions are also expressed by sea. The average month temperature of the sea, between the June and October, is 20°C, which makes this local climate even more attractive. It is not strange for the temperatures of the sea to get to more than 27°C.
    The standard, month warmth of the atmosphere is in four months (June to September) higher than 20°C, and only several weeks between January and February have the average, month temperature lower than 10°C.
