Gaudi modifyed the old building and designed one of the most incredible and fantastic houses, with unique and countless details from the interior to the facade. The architect Gaudi made practically a total new house since he added unique attic, the balconies, two more levels and the gallery. The house is built in typical Modernistic style. This amazing building reflects an abstract naturalism.

Antoni Gaudi worked on the house from year 1904 to 1906, but even now it looks incredibly new. A facade of the house extends between two baclonies including many other smaller and elegantly curved balconies. They look like birds nests that stick to the front of the house. The facade of the house itself glistens with small round plates in several colours that reminds you on fish scales. The house has no corners. Very beautiful are the walls they are totally rounded in undulations and have the feel of a sea serpent of the smooth skin about them.

The inside of the house is decorated with ceramics of brilliant and subtle colors. In the first floor of the house you can find a striking stone structure in the form of a loggia – roofed open gallery, this one is supported by columns and decorated in frame windows with stained glass. In the upper parts of the house are the ceramics and multi-coored glassmosaics interrupted by ironba balconies in the form of masks. On the top of the house Gaudi has created a very unique tile roof which ressembles the back of a fantastic dragon. On the roof Gaudi also made one of his favourite motives a round tower with a floral dome, which is topped with the four-branched cross. Behind all this we can see beautiful and colorful sculpted chimneys with their allusions to powerful guardians. The blue-green facade of the house makes you think of the sea, the ocean and on the rooftop you can see sculptures that reminds you on fish.
