Best Time to Visit Spain By Spain

    When to visit Spain

When visiting Spain, the best time to visit is purely a matter of choice; frankly, everyone has a chosen time of the season to travel. Most people based their decision upon the weather and what's going on in surrounding cities. And there's always something going on in Spain, all year around.

The month of January kicks off the festivities with the Three Kings Day celebration on the 6th of the month (twelve days after Christmas). The Three Kings Day is better known as the Epiphany,a day which celebrates the revelation of God in human form, in the person of Jesus Christ. However, the Three Kings Day takes a back seat to the Tamborrada drumming festival in San Sebastian.

If you like roaming the streets like its Mardi gras; then, this may very well be the best time to visit Spain for you.

February - carnival mont in Spain

Then there's carnival month in February, where Cadiz and the Canary Islands are lit up like the 4th of July. The carnival of Cadiz is reported to be the 3rd largest carnival celebration in the world behind the Rio de Janeiro and the Trinidad.

They consist of 7 larger islands and a few smaller ones, creating a look that would amaze God himself. If there's ever a time to go to Spain, it would be whenever your heart is strong enough to endure the beauty, elegance and majesty of the Canary Islands.

Also during the months of January and February, there are cold places like Madrid, Toledo and Salamanca and basically all bordering cities. To put it bluntly, unless you're in Andalusia, you will experience the cold of Spain.

How about spring time in Spain? Is it the best time to visit in Spain? Well, if you're a big fan of the beaches; then, spring is your thing. The weather is perfect for tanning, it will be warm enough to tan and cool enough to not get burn. Not to mention, Spain is notorious for nude beaches. And the hot temperatures in the summer don't prevent the tourist from coming out in droves.

And finally, in the months of September, October and November, the party doesn't stop there because the festivals in Spain are all year round. It's truly amazing to be able to visit a country that breaths relaxation. It is said that New York City is, "The City That Never Sleeps." Well, it is fitting to say that Spain is the country that never dies.
